What a weekend we’ve had!
This weekend saw a very special celebration take place in our very own London City.
We’ve been known to play a few Masonic events in the past, but this one really took the biscuit! Celebrating the United Grand Lodge of England’s tercentenary anniversary, where the Freemason Hall transformed into one of the largest raised dance floors in London. And, boy, we were so lucky to have been a part of it.
We shared the event with some fabulous performers – Gatsby Girls, Ceilidh bands, Orchestras, Bandeoke, Jazz Bands (to name a few!) – And not only was there all of that entertainment through out the Hall, but also a Casino, Games Room, Massage Room, Tea Room, Brandy Room… the list is honestly endless, just like the amount of steps we had to climb to enjoy the whole event!
Not only was the entertainment great, but the staff deserve a huge shout out too. Security was TIGHT, drinks and food were constant, the toilets were, well, impeccable! But our main thanks goes to our dedicated sound guy, Chris, from Die Hard Productions. Legend.
I had a little google, and we all know how secretive the Mason’s are, but I feel that it’s ok to share the following images as there are some on the internet! And it’s such a beautiful building that it deserves some love on our Blog!
But do bare in mind, the photos are just from our phones!
And, Next week we get to do it all again, on a smaller scale for the Andover Masons Macmillan Charity event.
What a great job we have!
